Our Activities
What we do
The Ladies of Charity of Austin serve the community through various projects and committees. The following is a sampling but not a complete listing of charitable activities in which The Ladies of Charity of Austin participate:
- Hosting state hospital and state school parties
- Visiting nursing homes and hosting parties
- Visiting The Sick
- Helping with Funeral Ministry when requested
- Providing reading enrichment materials to teachers
- Volunteering at the Vincentian Family Center (VFC)
- Volunteering at Food Pantries
- Blue Bag Project (Putting together bags and handing them out to the homeless and women’s shelter.)
